David Eagles
A native Chicagoan and published author, King David tha Vessel, or “KD,” has been a staple in the Gospel music scene for the last 10 years. Well noted and respected among his peers, KD has not sought recognition, but is not foreign to it, having been nominated for a 2009 Rhythm of Gospel award in the category of Holy Hip Hop, and an award recipient at the 2014 Rap Ministry Awards. The music God has blessed KD with goes straight for the soul of man and is presented in a unique way that is timeless and authentic. KD has shared stages with the likes of gospel duo Mary Mary and hip-hop producer Thi’sl, and has appeared on songs with various recording artists including Brother 3, Nikeya Young, Shannae Lennore, and Tony WHOA!, as well as securing a spot on the nationally released Holy Hip Hop Vol. 17 compilation album in 2013. KD has a huge heart for strengthening The Church and re-establishing God’s intended standard. As an integral part of his home ministry and community, KD works tirelessly to make the voice of God heard in creative ways to an often distracted generation of believers and non-believers alike. He understands that the moments are precious, and opportunities to present Christ in a way that can and will change the life of the listener are more important now than they’ve ever been. KD recently released his latest album, A HEro 4 The Hurting.
