The calls, the gifts, the kisses, the wine...
Before my Sunday’s best could hit the floor...
My love, my heart, my passion was out the door...
Couldn’t believe I fell for him again...
Different body, same touch, different name....
Now I’m open for love

Tried my best to let him go...
Church boy, musician, I couldn't say no...
Told me that the Lord would understand...
Me fulfilling his needs, ‘cause he's a man...
When the time came for them to settle down...

A fool to think that I’d become his wife....
