Lisa Daniels
Lisa D. Daniels is a Chicago based writer and the author of My Life Is Not My Own, an inspirational blog that she describes as “messages from life experience, infused with spiritual insight, for those who desire to see God’s love in real life.” A graduate of Chicago State University, Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and works as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President at the Museum of Science and Industry. She is also a fitness enthusiast, the sitting president of the Renaissance Bronzeville Toastmasters Club, and founder of the Darren B. Easterling Center for Restorative Justice—an organization established in honor of her youngest son whose life was lost to gun violence. When asked to describe herself, she says, simply “I live to serve the Lord and exemplify His love.”
