Patricia McClure-Chessier

Award-winning author and speaker, Patricia McClure-Chessier, author of Losing a Hero to Alzheimer's: The Story of Pearl, uses her almost 25 years of experience as an educator and health care professional to chronicle her journey as her mother's caregiver. Patricia shares her journey of caring for her mother with Alzheimer's Disease as other family members watched from the sidelines. She provides readers with practical guidelines on caregiving. This includes the warning signs and characteristics associated with each stage of the disease, as well as the effects it can have on the individual, the caregiver, and the family. Patricia holds a B.A. in Psychology and an MBA and MPA. She is an Adjunct Professor and an Associate CEO of a Psychiatric Hospital in the Chicago land area.
